tournaments types for best time in round
Beginning with OSKAR 4.0, tournaments can now be scored by best laptime in the round -- in other words, the fastest lap time in any race, across all the races and racers in a round is the leader for that round. This format is especially useful for large groups where not every guest races the same number of qualifying rounds, or for highly-competitive league events. ■ Racing credits ensure every race is paid for
Simply define in OSKAR how much each race type costs in procash(tm) credits. Then create POS items that will allow racers to buy the proper number of credits for each race type. Then as racers buy races, these credits will be added to their account by swiping their procard(tm) at the POS terminal. As they are added to the races, their credits are deducted -- if they don't have enough credits, they can pay the difference. In either case, you are assured that everyone who races, pays. ■ New reports allow complete control over dates
Use this feature to collect seasonal data, compare year over year or month over month data, or check the results of marketing or operational changes. As before, you can filter reports by operator, by revenue class, or even by register, when appropriate. ■ We'd like your feedback

OSKAR offers the
most sophisticated and flexible tournament formats to allow you to run
efficient and exciting event tournaments for your groups. You can create OSKAR tournaments
with any number of rounds, and within each round, you define how many times
each racers races. OSKAR automatically schedules, grids and scores each
race. Rounds can be scored either by best laptime
in each race, or by position in each race. Racers advance to
subsequent rounds according to the points they score in each round.
OSKAR has always had detailed audit reports to tell you exactly how many
races were sold, how many were run, and at what time. Beginning with OSKAR 4.0, you
can now enforce that every racer in a race must have first paid for that
race -- ideal for busy tracks, absentee owners, and tracks that offer a
number of different price points for races. 
OSKAR's reports -- for sales, racing activity, kart usage, marketing
results and so on -- have just gotten better. Beginning with OSKAR 4.0, you
can now choose the date range you are interesting in: by day, by week, by
month,
by quarter or by year. You can easily choose to see the next or previous
period, or even choose a custom date range between any two dates of interest.
