■ Keeping your business
secure
Each employee is assigned a privilege group which controls access to OSKAR features. For example, you can allow Track Marshals to start and stop races, but not operate the cash register. You control which group an employee is a member of and what privileges they have using the Operators and the Privileges reports. Using the Operators report, you assign each employee a login password or an ID card or both. To assign an ID card, simply type the ID number printed on their ProCard into the card id column of Operators report. If you don't want to allow access via a password, leave it blank. Employees simply swipe their card at the login screen to log in If left idle, OSKAR shows the password screen after a few minutes - typically three minutes for the front counter. You should also encourage your employees to log out of OSKAR by tapping their name displayed at the top right of the screen. ■ Getting the most out of your marketing campaigns
■ Swipe and go for fastest kart loading
Here's how it works: racers need to have stored race credits on their ProCard; they can purchase race credits in advance at the front desk. If they see a race they want to join, the head to the pit lane, where a track marshal just needs to swipe their ProCard to add them to a race. The credits are automatically deducted from their account. This is also a big time-saver for large groups. Simply assign each event attendee a ProCard and fill event races on a first come first-serve basis. They'll even all get ProScores and scoresheets! |
